In door plant

Growing  plants is always  good fun and easy to do .


What you need


Toilet roll
Scissors
old waterproof plate or Tupperware
a seed ( I used a sunflower seed)

You will need  to cut tabs about 1 inch all around the end of the loo roll.
Then you need to fold the tabs in (as shown in the photo ).
Fill with soil.
Place in a seed.
Don't forget to water your seed and put it somewhere that it can get light.


Once you see shoots you will need to plant then outside.

Playdough (Play-doh)

Basic ingredient in ratios:
2 cups flour
2 cups warm water
1 cup salt
2 Tablespoons vegetable oil
1 Tablespoon cream of tartar (optional for improved elasticity)

food coloring (liquid or powder)

Chocolate Cornflake Cupcakes

 



Ingredients

• 225g/8oz plain chocolate, broken into pieces
• 2 tbsp golden syrup
• 50g/2oz butter
• 75g/3oz cornflakes

Preparation method

1. Line a 12-hole fairy cake tin with paper cases.
   
2. Melt the chocolate, golden syrup and butter in a bowl set over a pan of gently simmering water, (do not let the base of the bowl touch the water). Stir the mixture until smooth.
   
3. Remove the bowl from the heat and gently stir in the cornflakes until all of the cereal is coated in the chocolate.
   
4. Divide the mixture between the paper cases and Chill in the fridge for 1 hour, or until completely set.
   

Indoor Tent/Den

You will need

1. A blanket or sheet.
2. Chairs or a table
3. Some cushions or pillows

Transport your childrens imagination away to far flung landscapes of snow or sand in this deluxe childrens tent/den created by draping a blanket or sheet between two chairs or over a table. For added comfort you can take your pillows off the bed or cushions off the sofa and put them on the floor.

Fantastic adventures await and you may want to make it a lttle larger as mum or dad are often invited inside for snacks or sandwiches!

Noughts and Crosses/Tic tac toe

Get a pen, paper, and someone to play against.

Choose who will be noughts and who will be crosses.

If you are noughts, go in the middle of the grid.

Watch where the opponent moves and if the have two in a row, go in the space that will prevent them from making three in a row.
